Autograph letter from Lord Thurlow, Miller's Hotel, to Joseph Haslewood [manuscript], 1811 November 27.

Lord Thurlow presents the Defence of poesy to Mr. Haslewood; addressed from Miller's Hotel [Ger?]ngh Street (leaf 1). Pasted to the second leaf is an autograph letter signed from S.W. Singer, Duke Street, to Joseph Haslewood, dated Jan. 12. Singer writes that his is returning the Sidney, with many thanks. Also, Haslewood "will find a copy of some verses handscribed from the first leaf of Lord T's Poems now in my possession and which have not yet been printed." The autograph poem by Lord Thurlow is on leaf 4.
